Privacy

Short version: QRForge collects nothing, because there is nowhere for data to go. The application has no backend.

What is stored

Your working design, your saved-designs library and your theme preference are written to this browser’s local storage, on this device. That includes any logo you add, stored as an embedded data URL. Clearing site data deletes all of it permanently.

What is not collected

  • No accounts, emails or passwords
  • No analytics, telemetry or crash reporting
  • No cookies
  • No advertising or third-party scripts
  • No copies of the content you encode

Network activity

After the page loads, the application makes no network requests. You can verify this in your browser’s network tab, or by disconnecting and continuing to work.

Permissions

The location type can ask for your position to fill in coordinates. That request is optional, handled entirely by the browser, and the result is only written into the form. Clipboard access is used only when you explicitly copy or paste.
